Equine Shiatsu is a bodywork therapy for horses derived from the human form of Shiatsu.
Shiatsu is a hands-on Japanese therapy which uses pressure on powerful points and meridians to move energy around the body. Shiatsu influences the body’s energy in a similar way to acupuncture, but using finger pressure instead of needles.
Shiatsu can help with a wide range of conditions – from specific injuries to more general symptoms of poor health, both mental and physical. The aim of a Shiatsu treatment is to rebalance the energy so that it flows smoothly again. As the flow of energy in the body improves, so does the condition and health of the body.
